Creating engaging and monetizable content for a YouTube channel can seem daunting, especially when managing multiple projects. However, I recently discovered an efficient method to generate YouTube Shorts using AI automation, much like this process. Inspired by a YouTube video titled “I Made 700 Monetizable YouTube Shorts for Faceless Channel in 18 MINUTES using AI Automation,” I decided to give it a try. Here’s how I did it and how you can too.
Discovering the Method
The video introduced a revolutionary method for creating YouTube Shorts using AI tools like ChatGPT and Canva. The idea was to leverage AI to generate riddles, quiz content, and engaging visuals, which would then be compiled into Shorts. This method proved incredibly effective for the video creator, who managed to rake in over $9,000 per month from a faceless YouTube channel. Intrigued by the potential, I decided to replicate and refine this process.
My Initial Attempts and Challenges
Before diving into the new method, I had my fair share of struggles with creating content. Long-form videos took considerable time and effort, and the results were not always satisfying. With the rise of short-form content, I realized I needed to adapt. However, creating multiple shorts manually seemed just as time-consuming. This is where AI automation became a game-changer.
Step-by-Step Process
1. Generating Riddles with ChatGPT:
The first step involved using ChatGPT to create riddles. I prompted the AI with specific instructions to generate quick and interesting riddles. For instance, I asked, “As a renowned riddles expert, create five quick and interesting riddles for your audience to solve. Each riddle should have three options with only one correct answer.” ChatGPT responded efficiently, generating high-quality content.
2. Organizing Content in Google Sheets:
Next, I compiled all the generated riddles into a Google Sheet. This step was crucial for keeping the content organized and ready for bulk creation. The sheet included columns for the riddle text, options, and the correct answers.
3. Creating Visuals with Canva:
Using Canva, I designed engaging templates for the YouTube Shorts. I focused on making the visuals appealing and easy to read. The process involved selecting background videos, adding text overlays, and incorporating animations. Canva’s user-friendly interface made this step straightforward and enjoyable.
4. Bulk Creating Videos:
One of the key features of Canva Pro is the bulk creation tool. By importing the Google Sheet data, I could generate multiple videos simultaneously. This step saved an immense amount of time compared to creating each video individually. Each video maintained a consistent style, ensuring a cohesive look for my channel. Each video was a little over a minute as I tried to incorporate multiple questions in one video as I think this adds a little quality to these types of videos. Plus, we want longer watch time for each video.
5. Adding Music and Final Touches:
To avoid copyright issues, I sourced free music from the YouTube Audio Library. Adding background music enhanced the overall engagement of the videos. Additionally, I adjusted the timing of text and animations to ensure a smooth flow.
Results and Reflections
In less than 2 hours, I had created about 700 YouTube Shorts. The efficiency of this method was astonishing. I still needed to upload these shorts to my faceless channel. Again, I used ChatGPT to generate titles and descriptions for my videos. It didn’t take long to notice an increase in views and engagement when I uploaded some of these videos. The riddle and quiz format kept viewers hooked, leading to longer watch times and better retention rates.
This method not only saved me time but also opened up new possibilities for content creation. Leveraging AI automation allowed me to focus on other aspects of my business while maintaining a steady stream of content.
Tips and Tricks
Effective Prompting:
The quality of AI-generated content heavily depends on the prompts given. Be specific and clear about what you want the AI to produce. Experiment with different prompts to see what works best. I do a little programming so I find giving prompt a little like programming. Your output depends mostly on your input.
Let’s say I want 5 questions about countries from around the world. Just to test my audience’s geographical knowledge. I might use a prompt like, “Give me 5 questions and answers about countries around the world.” And my output would be something like below:
But now, I will have to find options to add to the questions to create my multiple choice quiz. Plus I don’t require detailed answers in my quiz. I also want to put my quiz in a spreadsheet so with this format, I will have to copy each question and add it to the spreadsheet and do the same for each answer.
Now check out this prompt;
It’s not perfect but it’s way better. Now all I have to do is copy that code, paste it into a text editor like Notepad, and save it as a “.csv” file. Now I can easily open that file with Microsoft Excel or Google Spreadsheet. ChatGPT might be able to create the spreadsheet but I find that it generates the “CSV” text super fast.
Do some of the work:
It’s great that most of this process is automated but you can add more value if you go further with creating these videos. For example, instead of your options being text-based, you can add images. You can also add voice-over to your videos. You can go crazy with the animations and transitions to make your videos appear a little more professional.
Organize Your Content:
Using tools like Google Sheets or Excel to organize your content can streamline the bulk creation process. It ensures that all data points are correctly linked, reducing errors.
Invest in Tools:
While free tools are available, investing in premium versions like Canva Pro can unlock powerful features such as bulk creation. The initial investment can pay off significantly in terms of time saved and content quality.
Stay Updated:
AI tools are continuously evolving. Stay updated with the latest features and improvements to make the most of these technologies.
Consistency is Key:
Maintain a consistent style and theme for your videos. This helps in brand building and makes your content easily recognizable.
